Conference venue
The conference ESWN 2015 will be held at the Wroc³aw University of Technology, at the Center for Scientific and Technical Information (D-21 building, on the map below marked as BIBLIOTECH, Grunwaldzki Square 11).
The conference will begin at 9am on Monday 9th March 2015 and close with the Gala Dinner on Tuesday evening 10th March at the Hotel Mercure (Dominikański Square 1).
The participants of the conference are recommended to stay at the Mercure Hotel Wroc³aw Centrum, which prepared special prices for ESWN 2015:
- single room: PLN 285.00/per day (breakfast included)
- double room: PLN 335.00/per day (breakfast included)

To get from the Mercure Hotel Wroc³aw Centrum to the University of Technology take the tram:
- line 33 or 4 (three tram stops, from the stop Gallery Dominikańska to the stop Grunwaldzki Square)
- line 2 or 10 (four tram stops, from the stop Gallery Dominikańska to the stop Grunwaldzki Square)
Center for Scientific and Technical Information (CWINT WrUT) is an interdepartmental unit established on January 1st, 2014. It runs scientific, research, educational and service activities. Center comprises: The Traditional Library (with a collection of printed sources), The Electronic Library (with a collection of digital information sources), Center for Science and Economy Cooperation, Contact Point for Technology Transfer, Research Laboratories and Center’s Branches located at University organisational units (former faculty, institute and department libraries). CWINT is located in building D-21 (called BIBLIOTECH) at Plac Grunwaldzki 11, Wroc³aw, Poland. Wroc³aw (www.wroclaw.pl) is the capital of Lower Silesia, one of the oldest and largest cities in Poland, and also the European Capital of Culture 2016. Wroc³aw is famous for its magnificent architecture and the largest number of bridges on the Old Continent. The pride of our city is the Market Square, the medieval Old Town market, one of the largest in Europe, surrounded by fabulous houses from different historical periods. Wroclaw University of Technology (www.pwr.wroc.pl) is one of the largest and best academic schools in Poland. It is the heir to the material legacy of the German Königliche Technische Hochschule Breslau and the intellectual and research traditions of the Lviv University of Technology. Under the current name, it has functioned since 1945. It educates over 34,000 students in 12 faculties. Every year over 4,000 degrees are conferred, and since the university was established over 80,000 students graduated the school. The university staff consists of over 4,000 employees, including 2,000 academic workers.
